We are seeking a Social Manager who has 5+ years of social experience to join our growing team. You will drive social media initiatives and content across social channels for our clients – and you really love the outdoors, or food, or both!

You need to be confident enough to guide clients down the right paths and our team toward the right solutions. Someone who can artfully manage neither being the agency’s mouthpiece to the client nor the client’s mouthpiece to the agency. Someone who can push back in a way that makes people love them even more for doing it.

  • Partner with brand and social strategists to deliver social campaign strategy for our clients in the outdoor and food category
  • Develop go-to-market ideas that build community around the brand and include fans in innovative ways
  • Develop and manage social content plans and calendars grounded in the brand’s strategic framework
  • Partner with the Creative Director to guide and influence how brand comes to life on social through content, copy, and activations 
  • Partner with the creative team to ideate and develop social concepts and activations
  • Collaborate with and provide creative direction to content creators and other brand partnerships
  • Guide the purpose of and strategic curation of content from the community, being responsible to set terms for permission rights and republishing when required
  • Co-manage social coordinators and/or community managers, being ultimately responsible for proofed content before going live
  • Succinctly report and provide insights on brand’s social community in collaboration with a Social Analyst
  • Support the proposal of new social tactics, that support brand objectives, with a clear point of view and rationalization 
  • Identify relevant current or category moments and ideate on how to activate against them to grow relationships, perception, or awareness of the brand
  • Work closely with PR to help identify possible influencer and creator partnerships

You have

  • 3+ years of social experience – and a track record of being awesomely awesome (if your clients and colleagues will cry when you resign, that’s a good indicator that you’re awesomely awesome)
  • In-depth knowledge of current and emerging social channels, along with experience executing channel-specific strategies
  • Innate strategic thinking skills with a desire to sharpen them under the tutelage of our strategic thinkers.
  • Proven track record of social media management and content creation.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with senior-level clients and agency leaders.
  • The motivation to always deliver the best work without micromanagement.
  • The coveted skills of organization, detail-orientation and multi-tasking-ation.
