The One Club for Creativity, the world’s foremost nonprofit organization that promotes excellence in advertising with the goal of nurturing a more vibrant and inspired global creative community, has announced a partnership with The Variable and a select number of regional agencies to establish The One Club for Creativity-Carolinas as an official chapter.
Joe Parrish, partner and chief creative officer at The Variable will lead the chapter’s Winston-Salem district. Other district chiefs include agency leaders from McKinney and The Republik in Raleigh-Durham, N.C., BooneOakley in Charlotte, N.C., EP+Co in Greenville, S.C.
“The Variable has always been an agency that was proud to call Winston-Salem home,” says Parrish. “We feel this area of the country is home to some of the best creative minds in the country and through this new chapter, we now we have the opportunity to work alongside other agencies to help foster growth throughout the Carolina’s advertising community.”

The new chapter will help foster The One Club’s mission by hosting speaker events throughout the year, including an event featuring Michael Duda, managing partner at Bullish, hosted by The Variable on Sept. 18.
In addition to speaker events, the new chapter will connect up-and-comers with industry vets through mentorship, produce a collection of renowned and original projects, and bring even the wildest of ideas to life — all in the name of keeping creativity alive and well.
