Reinventing caffeine from the grounds up.
An ambitious start-up came to The Variable with a bold vision and a groundbreaking formulation for a caffeine alternative. This cleaner, healthier, lab-created pick-me-up truly was a rare breakthrough in an industry that hadn’t seen this level of innovation since the discovery of the coffee plant itself. They just needed someone to help bring their vision to life in a fully realized package—literally.
We started at ground level, giving the company a name, Rarebird, and a comprehensive brand identity that would help it jump off the shelf while telling the unique story of the product itself. Driven by bold blue hues and a clever tone unafraid to plant a flag of difference in the crowded coffee space, we gave Rarebird the ingredients it needed to leave the nest with confidence.
