MEDIA PROS, MAVENS AND ROCKSTARS. Lend us your ears (and brains). The Variable is searching for an Integrated Communications Planner to join our talented Winston-Salem team.

We’re looking for a talented human being that understands media as the complex science that it is. Someone with 3-5+ years of experience in researching, planning and purchasing online and offline media across multiple channels. The ideal candidate possesses both direct response and branding experience, can demonstrate a sound understanding of how multiple advertising channels work and has a strong interest in digital trends, technology and tools.

The Media Supervisor must develop a team that can generate a high level of quality output in short term communications projects, long-term planning, and value-added opportunities.  They also must develop strong relationships with clients, internal partners and the sales community, be articulate about issues of the communications plan development through execution and must ensure that plans meet marketing objectives and communications strategies.  The Media Supervisor should be able to generate, contribute to, and sell ideas both within the agency, to clients, and sales representatives.  Also, they should be able to represent client marketing and communications goals to the vendor community.

We are looking for a detail-oriented person with the desire to learn and grow in an innovative and highly creative environment.  Experience with all or combination of Programmatic, Paid Search, Paid Social and/or Traditional is a plus. We will also provide you with opportunities to expand your expertise in these areas.

YOU HAVE

  • 3-5+ years of experience with multiple media channels in an agency environment
  • Experience with integration of ideas across management, planning and creative teams
  • Have advanced knowledge in DoubleClick; experience with campaign set up, website tagging, troubleshooting, ad trafficking and reporting and can help with training others of this tool
  • Experience with programmatic media buying through DSPs, exchanges, or bid management tools is a plus
