The Variable is searching for a group of talented and hungry interns who would rather spend a summer creating something meaningful than spend it buried in busy work. As an intern at The Variable, you’ll be joined by an awesome group of other interns who will be your teammates throughout the 10-week, paid program. Under the guidance of seasoned professionals here at The Variable (people who have led work with major brands like Audi, TJ Maxx, Char-Broil and more!), you and your fellow interns will function as your own team – from strategy to creative development to public relations and social media – tasked with creating, launching and owning a buzzworthy project that stops people in their tracks and shakes them out of their normal state of indifference. We’re searching for dynamic, curious and driven students who would rather spend their summer launching an original idea than heads-down in a spreadsheet or running errands.
The Variable Account Management intern will keep our team of interns on track and help them deliver incredible things every single day. If you are someone who embraces processes that work and challenges ones that don’t, someone who sweats the details and can stick to timelines then this may be the internship for you.
The Variable art direction/design intern must be a conceptual thinker that can see an idea, then see that idea through to exceptional execution. A portfolio should be submitted along with resume and cover letter.
The Variable copywriting intern must be a creative thinker with excellent writing skills and a passion for prose. You’re someone who can develop a voice and carry that voice across projects. Writing samples should be submitted along with resume and cover letter.
The Variable PR/social media intern must have a passion for developing engaging content. You are someone that enjoys getting to the heart of a good story and knows how to promote that story to the masses.
The Variable Strategy intern will be part researcher, part sociologist and part account manager. If you like to ask questions and have a tendency to look for the why before the what, then you were made for this role.
